Ishani Patel, OD

Dr. Ishani Patel, OD is a dedicated and highly skilled optometrist with a strong background in both comprehensive and medical eye care. We are excited to welcome her to the Ascend Vision family.

Dr. Patel earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Oklahoma State University. She brings extensive experience in full-scope optometry, including advanced medical eye care and post-operative management for procedures such as cataract and refractive surgeries (LASIK, PRK, and PTK).

Her clinical expertise includes diagnosing and managing conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, as well as treating complex ocular surface and inflammatory conditions like dry eye syndrome, keratitis, and thyroid eye disease. She is also trained in a wide range of advanced procedures, including laser treatments (YAG, SLT, LPI), IPL therapy, and minor surgical interventions.

Recognized for her professional excellence, Dr. Patel was nominated for Oklahoma’s “40 Under 40 to Watch.” She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, and speaks conversational Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse patient population with clarity and compassion.
