Dr. Frank Fischer III has been in private ophthalmology practice for more than 17 years. He graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He obtained his medical degree, completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Fischer also completed a two-month LASIK internship in Panama City, Panama.
Dr. Fischer is licensed by the state of Florida, and is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Florida Society of Ophthalmology and the Polk County Medical Association.
