Dr. Michael Graham, M.D., is dedicated to improving vision for his patients across Central Florida, but his journey began in a Long Island research lab. Initially aspiring to be a scientist, he soon realized he preferred people over beakers, which led him to pursue a career in ophthalmology. A Northwest New Jersey native with a passion for science and a knack for “fixing things,” Dr. Graham balances his technical expertise with creative hobbies like woodworking, photography, and even award-winning amateur beer brewing. This blend of precision and personality defines his approach to patient care.
Specializing in cataract microsurgery, anterior segment diseases, and glaucoma laser surgery, Dr. Graham also engages in clinical research, contributing to advancements in intraocular lens technology and treatments for cataracts, dry eyes, and glaucoma. After earning a degree from the University of Virginia and a medical degree with distinction from SUNY Stony Brook, he completed his residency in New York. Dr. Graham found his professional home at Magruder Eye Institute, drawn by its cutting-edge practice and welcoming community.
