Katherine Raynor, OD

Dr. Katherine Raynor is an optometric physician joining Ascend Vision Partners with experience in comprehensive and medical eye care, ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, specialty contact lenses, and pre- and postoperative surgical care.

Dr. Raynor earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida.

Throughout her career, Dr. Raynor has focused on providing comprehensive eye care while diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. She has particular experience in the evaluation and treatment of dry eye disease, including advanced therapies such as LipiFlow, IPL, amniotic membranes, and punctal plugs. She also has extensive experience fitting soft and specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses.

Her clinical training included rotations in ocular disease, dry eye, specialty contact lenses, pediatric and binocular vision, and surgical eye care. During her training, she worked alongside ophthalmologists caring for patients with a variety of ocular diseases and gained experience in cataract pre- and postoperative care. She also completed a clinical rotation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, providing eye care to active-duty and retired military members and their families.

Dr. Raynor is passionate about helping patients protect their vision through personalized, comprehensive eye care. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient's visual needs and concerns while combining advanced diagnostic technology with an individualized approach to treatment.

Dr. Raynor is licensed to practice optometry in Florida and Tennessee and is excited to bring her experience and patient-centered approach to Ascend Vision Partners.
