Brian Planchard, M.D.

Dr. Brian Planchard, a Shreveport, Louisiana native, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earned his medical degree at Tulane Medical School. After completing a General Surgery Internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, he pursued ophthalmology residency at LSU Shreveport and a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Price Vision Group in Indianapolis.

Dr. Planchard practiced in Shreveport with his father before joining the University of Texas Health Science Center and later moving to Florida in 2018. He has extensive experience in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and dry eye conditions. Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
