A board-certified, dual fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, his unique background spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical development, and clinical research enables him to bridge scientific innovation with individualized, patient-centered care.
Before joining Ascend Vision Partners, Dr. Simons served as a Global Clinical Program Director in ophthalmic drug development, where he helped lead the development of innovative therapies and participated in numerous national and international clinical trials. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to evaluating emerging technologies and integrating the latest evidence-based diagnostic and treatment advances into clinical practice.
