Dr. Staci Walters is a board-certified optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry with over 15 years of experience providing advanced medical eye care. She has extensive expertise in managing complex ocular conditions, including glaucoma, retinal disease, and cataract surgery co-management. Her approach blends medical precision with a genuine commitment to patient education and long-term vision health.
Throughout her career, Dr. Walters has been recognized for her leadership, mentorship, and dedication to excellence in clinical care. She has completed specialized training in ocular disease, refractive, and cataract surgery management and is certified in Advanced Ocular Therapy and TPA.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Walters has contributed to several ophthalmic research studies involving leading technologies from Bausch & Lomb and Carl Zeiss, helping to advance innovation in refractive surgery. Her professional involvement extends beyond the exam room — she has served in optometric associations and leadership programs, promoting collaboration and continued learning within the eye care community.
Dr. Walters earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry and completed her residency in Ocular Disease, Refractive, and Post Operative Cataract Surgery Management at Eyecare Associates of Nevada. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she graduated with honors.
