Frank Fischer Jr., M.D.

Dr. Frank Fischer Jr. has more than 50 years of ophthalmology experience. He received his B.S. with honors from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and his M.D. from the University of Florida. He interned at the Western Reserve-University Hospitals of Cleveland, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida. He also served as a flight surgeon with the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Fischer is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a Member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, the Polk County Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
