Dr. Fatima Qureshi, MD, OD is a highly skilled medical optometrist joining Ascend Vision Partners. She earned her Medical Doctor degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and later completed the highly competitive Accelerated OD Program at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, designed for foreign medical graduates, receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012.
Dr. Qureshi completed advanced clinical training at Lahey Clinic Medical Center (Tufts Medical School), the Veterans Administration Hospital (Harvard Medical School), and other leading institutions, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive eye care and complex ocular disease management.
Dr. Qureshi is known for her efficiency, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care. She has been recognized with multiple professional honors and was selected as a Subject Matter Expert for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry’s Laser and Surgical Procedures Exam Development Committee. She hold an active license for Ophthalmic Surgery Procedures in the state of Louisiana.
Dr. Qureshi is passionate about education and community outreach and is the creator of the YouTube channel “Q&A with Dr. Q,” focused on eye diseases and surgical education.
